A Braille table of chemical elements is printed and embossed on a Swell Touch Paper. For each chemical element, four audio recordings were made:

A. The name of the chemical element
B. Atomic number and atomic mass
C. Group and period of the chemical element.
D. Properties and industrial uses

At one press on a chemical element cell, one or more of the four audio recordings (A, B, C, D) are played back.

The user can select what information is he / she interested in by selecting which audio recordings are played (A, B, C, D, A+B, C+D, or A+B+C+D).

Of course, the information contained in the four audio records could different.

The document is designed with S-PEAK AB Editor software.

Games

With the information in the page, “Show me” game could be played. Starting this game and selecting audio recordings “A”, the user is asked (by the device) to “press” on the cell in the table of the named chemical element. (oxygen, sulfur, hydrogen, copper, etc.)

Playing the same game, if the user selects “D” audio recordings, the user listens to the properties and industrial uses of one chemical element and he / she has to guess the chemical element and to show it, by pressing on its cell in the periodic table.
