AB Editor is a graphical & audio software editor, that provides you a simple way to create new teaching materials, crosswords, or games. Its interface is intuitive and easy to use.

Documents created with AB Editor can include text with normal or Braille letters, pictures, and graphic shapes (line, rectangle, circle, ellipse).

To add audio recordings to hot items in the document, it’s necessary to define a closed polygon for each item, that will be linked with (up to 4) audio files. Polygons for pictures and labels could be automatically generated with a simple tick. You can also define custom polygons with up to 20 points. For items with more complicated shape, multiple polygons can be linked to the same audio recording.

For each page, you can easily enable two, one or none games (“Show me” and “Memory” game) where the user of S-PEAK M6 Touch device is asked to (memorize and) show, by press, the item(s) in the embossed page linked with the played audio recording(s).

AB Editor generates the data file for each book and saves all the necessary files to the micro SD card. Also, the software generates the .dxf file necessary to laser cut the holes in the embossed sheet for crossword and board games.

Crossword pages are automatically generated, starting from the table of crossword. The crossword table is created with AB Editor, but the user can also import the data from a spreadsheet table like Excel by copy/paste. The user generates the document with Braille or numbered labels.

A document history is saved with the file.
